Join the herd and lace up your running shoes for the Chick-fil-A Connect Race Series of Macon, GA on May 27, 2013 benefiting WinShape Camps for Communities!
This race will include: ChronoTrack chip timing, USATF certified & sanctioned course (Peachtree Road Race qualifier), dri-fit shirts, an incredible atmosphere for the entire family, and a chance to win Chick-fil-A Food Products for a year*! You may run or walk with a stroller in the 10k, 5K, and 1 Mile, and if you have questions about the race, visit our Frequently Asked Questions.
Directly beside the finish line of each race will be a FREE Family FunZone. The Family FunZone provides a fun, free, and family friendly activity area filled with several inflatables. The Family FunZone will be open to children from birth to 12 years of age.
Traffic patterns require a 16 minute mile pace for the 10K Course.
Online registration will be closed during Early Packet Pick Up from 2:00-6:00PM on Friday, May 24th. It will continue immediately after Early Packet Pick Up and remain open until 9:00PM on Sunday, May 26th.
Will you compete in SPEED or in SPIRIT?
You can earn points in SPEED and SPIRIT for the race and also for the National Chick-fil-A Connect Race Series. More information about the national series at www.cfaraceseries.com.
SPEED POINTS
Run fast = earn a medal, the chance to win Chick-fil-A for a year, and SPEED points.
The faster you run and the more races you run in, the more SPEED points you earn.
SPIRIT POINTS
Pre-Event: Attend Early Packet Pickup (50 points), Tweet @cfaraceseries (20 points)
Event Day: Dress up like a cow & check-in at the SPIRIT tent (200 points), Win Best Costume (200 points)
Post Event: Complete Runner Survey (50 points), Win the Photo Finish Contest on social media (200 points)
